Very nice

Not much to say, carrier is everything it's supposed to be. Easy to assemble, very sturdy. I use it primarily to haul a youth ATV which barely fits but does and carrier is plenty strong & secure.

works great

We bought this to use for extra packing space for a vacation. It worked great, and even with a moderate amount of stuff packed in a cargo bag, it mounted low enough to not require a remote license plate holder or break/turn signal lights (at least for what we packed). The only downside we encountered was, as some other reviewers have pointed out, the cutouts for the bolt holes that attach the frame to the platform were not very accurate. On three out of the six bolting locations I had to remove some extra metal webbing to allow the bolt head to sit flush with the frame and thus engage the square hole that prevents it from turning during assembly. One other installation note, the instructions call for torguing the bolts to 30 foot-pounds, so if you want to follow the instructions you'll need a torque wrench.

Got some flaws

Great product but has some manufacturing issues. It is funny that it says 10 minute installation on the box, but that is only the case if you don't have to modify it to put it together. The bolt holes on top are square so that the bolt doesn't turn when you are installing the nylock nuts on the bottom, but almost every single bolt needed extra persuasion. The kit comes with 4 smaller bolts and 2 longer main bolts.
One of the main bolts has interference from the metal webbing so that it doesn't sit flush against that square hole. So you can either return it and hope that the next one doesn't have this issue, or you can use a dremel and cut away some of the excess metal that shouldn't be there. Once you make the cut, you have to repaint the exposed metal so that it doesn't rust. Luckily I already had these supplies on hand but if I didn't, I would have had to buy it, making this more expensive.
So basically this "10 minute installation" turns into an hour with the purchase of extra supplies if you don't have it already.
Btw, I used some black engine enamel spray paint to paint the exposed metal. Slightly glossier but can barely tell with the very small area that you have to paint. Remember to cover the surrounding area so you only paint what you need to.
